Bing Edwards is a lawyer representing the Alabama Power Foundation. He has assisted the Foundation with its impact investment program.

Bing has practiced law in Birmingham for almost 25 years. In 2017, he started his own law firm, Fortif Law Partners, which has now grown to be home to five attorneys. In addition to Alabama Power Foundation, his clients include Alabama Power Company, the research park at Auburn University, the Birmingham Business Alliance, and the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama.

Bing is a member of the boards of directors of – and his firm represents – Ed Farm (which helps teach inner city school children how to code), Bronze Valley (which works to enhance entrepreneurship in Alabama’s minority communities), and AG Gaston Boys and Girls Club (which serves inner-city youth).

Over the last three years, Bing has been named the Birmingham lawyer of the year for economic development, tax litigation and controversy, and corporate law. Bing is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. He received his law degree at the University of Alabama and a Masters in Tax Law at the New York University School of Law.
