Trainer, consultant and author of The Official Federal Grants Prep Guide, Kim Richardson is a grant writing and federal grants management expert serving a diverse clientele of non-profit organizations, public institutions, and government agencies nationwide and internationally. As President of Kimberly Richardson Consulting, she leverages over 24 years of experience to benefit her clients and has secured and successfully managed over $120 million in grant funding. A strong advocate of ethical fundraising and organizational capacity-building, she is member of the Grant Professionals Association and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Baldwin-Wallace University and a Master of Science in Urban Studies from Cleveland State University. Her leadership experience includes serving two terms as President of the Birmingham Public Library Board, serving on the national Board of Directors of the Grant Professionals Certification Institute, being appointed to the Board of Directors of the Birmingham Museum of Art, and being tapped by the U.S. State Department as a qualified Fulbright Program Specialist.
