Quang Do is a Program Officer at the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham. A 2016 White House Champion of Change, Quang comes to the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham (CFGB) after a successful career as a student affairs professional, diversity consultant, and educator. Previously, he served as a Student Affairs Specialist at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) where he was given the 2017 National Association of Student Personnel Administrators “Spirit of Diversity” award for his role in the creation of the Office of Multicultural and Diversity Programs and commitment to building systems of support for students from under-served communities. When he is not working, he can be found riding his bicycle through the streets of Downtown Birmingham, coaching youth soccer, or performing spoken-word poetry. An alumnus of UAB, he currently lives in the Five Points South community with his 8 year old daughter, Ellie, and yellow lab, Hades.
