Ricky Brito is the program manager for Supplier Sustainability and Equity for Southern Company Supply Chain Management. He has been with the company since joining Alabama Power in 2014. Prior to this role, he served as a contracts agent supporting Generation, Renewables and AGL Energy Services. Before joining Southern Company, Ricky was a Captain in the U.S. Army, stationed in Ft. Stewart, Georgia, and served one tour of duty to Iraq.

While Ricky grew up in Daphne, Alabama, the city of Birmingham has become home for him and his wife, Amanda. He received a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of South Alabama, a Juris Doctor from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law, a graduate-level Professional Certificate in Corporate Sustainability and Innovation from Harvard University's Extension School and is a member of the Alabama Bar Association. In his free time, Ricky enjoys travel and cooking and has just completed a Service Leadership Corps Fellowship with The Mission Continues, which is a national nonprofit organization that seeks to build partnerships between veterans and their local communities through service projects.
