Glenn is a Principal Research Engineer for Southern Company Research.  In addition to his primary responsibilities of leading Transmission and Substation research, he is responsible for research projects for cross-cutting areas in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) and Unmanned Systems.   He enjoys the interaction with the System Aerial Services team and is excited to partner with them as Southern Company enters into its next phase of pushing technology in the limits for fully automated and BVLOS data collections and inspections.   Glenn has been a part 91 pilot for 19 years.  He’s been an avid R/C pilot for over 30 years, building and flying fixed, rotor and multi-rotor aircraft.
