Mr. Madison Dixon is the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Program Manager and Chief Research Developer at Mississippi State University’s (MSU) Raspet Flight Research Laboratory (RFRL). Since joining MSU in 2016, Mr. Dixon has led UAS research development and program management efforts for MSU RFRL’s nationally renowned UAS program. Mr. Dixon holds a Master of Science in Geospatial Technologies degree from MSU and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Mr. Dixon is also a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) licensed Remote Pilot with multiple sUAS Authorizations/Waivers and over 1,800 hours of sUAS operations conducted across the U.S. In addition to his role at MSU, Mr. Dixon also serves as President of the Mississippi Chapter of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI).
