Luis III Bonilla joined Georgia Power Company in 2005 as an engineer at Plant Bowen. During his 17 years in GPC Generation, Luis held positions of increasing responsibilities while working at various generating facilities across Georgia. Since May of 2022, Luis functions as the Generation Inventory Strategy Manager for Southern Company’s Supply Chain Organization. Leading inventory strategy efforts impacting inventory optimization and warehouse operations across our generating fleet.

Before joining Southern Company, Luis served as a Staff Sergeant in the Puerto Rico Air National Guard; he was honorably discharged from the US Air Force in 2004. He has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez campus.
