Lauren is a graduate of Georgia State University, where she received a B.S. in Geology. She is a licensed PG in Georgia. Prior to joining Southern Company, Lauren worked as an environmental consultant at GEI Consultants for five years. While working at GEI Consultants, Lauren supported various groundwater remediation projects, as well as assisted GPC with CCR groundwater compliance at Plant McIntosh. Lauren joined Southern Company in September 2020 and serves as a Geologist III in the T&PS Environmental Solutions Group. She is currently the groundwater project manager for Plants McDonough, McIntosh, and Yates.
