Ben is a registered Professional Engineer with a decade of experience in heavy construction and civil engineering projects. After graduating from Georgia Tech, Ben began his career at Great Lakes Dredge and Dock where they deepened shipping channels and harbors through dredging and re-constructed beaches. Ben began working with Southern Company in 2016. He has spent his entire career at Southern Company in the Transmission Civil Design group out of Forest Park. In his time with the group, he has worked on a variety of projects including site grading, oil containment, and foundation designs for substations and transmission lines. Since 2019, Ben has been on the board of the Citizens of Georgia Power Forest Park Chapter. Outside of work, Ben enjoys cheering on his Atlanta sports teams and traveling
