Billy began his career in construction as a Boilermaker. Upon completing his Apprenticeship, he excelled in his craft as a rigger and certified pressure welder, advancing through the ranks of Foreman, General Foreman, and Superintendent. In 2016, he transitioned to Project Controls where he oversaw the cost control on all T&PS managed projects at Plants Barry, Daniel and Watson. These projects included multiple environmental and operation the MATS, MRCS, U5 Startup Boiler, Gas Lateral, CCR, and Coal Closure portfolios, which collectively totaled over $1 Billion. In 2019, he was hired by Southern Company to be the Assistant Site Manager for the Daniel CCR Conversion and Chevron HRSG Replacement projects. Billy is currently pursuing his degree at the University of Mobile, and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and children.
