Alan Arthur, 48 years with Southern Company. 21 years at APC with service at Plants Barry, Gorgas, and Gadsden. I joined SCS Supply Chain Management in 1998 as a Strategic Sourcing Agent. I have supported projects for many systems in our Coal Fired plants, ranging from CAT rolling stock, pulverizers, pumps, air heaters, boilers and turbines.Currently responsible for managing relationships with Caterpillar, Flowserve, Hydro Tex, Babcock & Wilcox and other strategic relationships. Married to Linda Thompson Arthur, we have 3 children and 8 grandchildren. We enjoy traveling with our family, camping and horse back riding.
