Eddie Collins is a project manager in the Transmission—Project Management Office in the T&PS organization. Eddie collaborates with the Operating Companies and Business Units on project management efforts, developing and automating project management processes, and various Controls functions for MPC.
Eddie began his Southern Company career in 2018. Prior to joining Southern Company, Eddie spent over 20 years in the automotive industry which launched his Project Management career. During this time, he had the opportunity to work for an automotive parts supplier, Ogihara, Corp. and at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama where he was responsible for managing New Model projects. Eddie became PMP certified in 2016.
Eddie is married with 2 children and enjoys traveling, cooking, and exploring new restaurants
