Eric Schleismann is a Principal Engineer in the Southern Company Services T&PS Equipment Services group. He has worked at Southern Company for 19 years. For the last 12 years, he has supported Georgia Power as a transformer SME. This role involves specifying substation transformers and mobile substations, performing transformer design reviews, inspecting transformers during production, and participating in various industry groups. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University and an MBA from Auburn University Montgomery. He is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Louisiana and Georgia and is a senior member of IEEE.
