Gerrad Wilson, P.E. is a Southern Company - Environmental Solutions Project Engineer. With a degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama - Birmingham, he has 14 years of experience working on Southern Company engineering projects. Gerrad previously was the Project Engineer for the Daniel ash pond closure and repurposing project. Currently, he serves as the Plant Gaston CCR Ash Pond Project Engineer. Mr. Wilson's technical focus is landfill design, construction support, and quality assurance. He is also the subject matter expert for the ClosureTurf synthetic capping system. For the past five years, he has managed the post-closure care activities for the Watson and Gadsden closed CCR facilities.
