Julia Brackner began her career at Alabama Power Company in 1983 supporting the Safety and Health Department and Risk Services. She transitioned to APC Plant Gorgas in 1986 to the Construction Department and then joined Generation in 1989 where she has worked in many departments including Compliance, Contracts, Maintenance, and Engineering where she was responsible for many projects. Julia’s longest tenure was in the Gorgas Storeroom where she gained almost 12 years of experience in warehouse and inventory management.

Julia has held positions of increasing responsibility while working at various generating plants across Alabama.
She then transferred to GPC Plant Hammond in March of 2016 as a Materials Team Leader until its decommission and then transferred to GPC Plant McDonough Combined Cycle in October 2017. Julia is currently working in a developmental role with the Supply Chain Inventory Strategy Team developing processes to enhance inventory optimization and warehouse operations across our generating fleet while supporting several other initiatives in various departments in Supply Chain.
