Joey Collier is the Geostructural Supervisor for Civil Field Services. He has been with Southern Company for 21 years, all serving in the Civil Field Services group. Most of his career has been spent in the field where he gained valuable experience in cementitious, chemical and epoxy grouting, concrete cutting, and foundation support installation. While in the field Joey held positions of increasing responsibility serving as Civil Field Technician, Civil Field Specialist, Geostructural Lead to his current role as Geostructural Services Supervisor. Joey has held several certifications including ACI concrete testing and adhesive anchor installer, Chance underpinning and ICRI concrete surface repair technician. Most recently, Joey has led his team through training and certification for ash pond closure turf inspection, maintenance, and repair. Joey has been married to Crystal for 22 years and they have one son, Noah (20).
