Jeremy B. Smith (B.S. Chemistry, Minor Biology, University of Montevallo 2001) has worked for over 21 years as a chemist for Southern Company. Currnetly fills role of Chemistry Specialist, Sr. for the last 9 years in the Technical Shared Services - Environmental Solutions Organization providing chemistry consulting services to Southern Company's fossil and gas fueled power plants. Jeremy is a member of the EPRI partnered Power Plant and Environmental Chemistry Committee, where he is a member of the executive committee. Jeremy is a planning committee member of the Electric Utility Chemistry Workshop. Finally, Jeremy is a recent published author on Suppplemental Oxygen Injection for AVT(O) in the international PPChem journal.
