Jon Glende is currently a Principal Engineer for Southern Company's Technical Shared Sevices.  He has over 40 years of experience in Engineering & Leadership.  Four of those years in Army Tank Simulation & the last 36 years in Power Generation including Heavy Duty and Aeroderivative Gas Turbines from GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Pratt Whitney,  Simple Cycle, Combined Cycle, Cogeneration, Duel Fuel, Diffusion & DLN Combustors, many accessory systems, and several Control System types.  Jon holds degrees of a BSEE from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois and a MBA from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia.  Jon has leveraged his Gas Turbine and Controls experience in 74 New Unit field projects totaling 123 different units, as well as numerous years of commercial unit's site & remote support, all over the United States, as well as The Netherlands, Italy, and Brazil.
