Principal Engineer in Southern Company’s T&PS Mechanical Field Services group, with 33 years of Power Generation experience. Jon started with Southern Company in 2008, working for the CC/CT Fleet Strategy Group as an Engineering Coordinator. Jon Started his post college career in 1985, working for General Electric’s Simulation & Ship Control Division as a Field Engineer working on the testing and installation of Army Tank Simulators. Jon also worked in GE’s Power Generation Division as a Gas Turbine Controls Specialist and later as a Gas Turbine Application Engineer. Jon also worked for Siemens in Gas Turbine Project Management, and Power Systems Manufacturing as their Gas Turbine Controls Leader. Jon has an undergraduate degree, BSEE 1984, from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, and a Masters Degree, MBA 2001, from Mercer University in Atlanta. Jon is married to Michele and they are the proud parents of boy/girl twins Stefan & Gabriela who are both Juniors at Kennesaw State University.
