Katherine Hofto is a principal engineer for Southern Company Gas, managing the capital project program for Peaking Operations. Peaking Operations includes four liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, two propane-air peaking plants, and two pipeline compressor stations. Prior to her current role, Katherine served various roles at Georgia Power’s Plant Bowen in Cartersville, GA and the National Carbon Capture Center in Wilsonville, AL. Katherine graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. She obtained her MBA from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
