Lance has been with the Southern Company and its affiliates for 22 years. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Missouri University of Science & Technology and an MBA from William Carey University. His career has spanned across Mississippi Power, Southern Power, Southern Company Services, and Georgia Power in organizations where he has led the company’s efforts in many different functions including Generation Development, Business Development, Asset Management, and Regulatory Affairs. This month Lance began his latest role as Georgia Power’s Resiliency Manager where he is responsible for implementing Georgia Power’s recently approved DER Customer Program as well as provide leadership and direction in support of the company’s evolving strategy to deliver resiliency solutions to customers.
