Mark has over 40 years of experience in structural and mechanical design. He has served as a Fabricator, Erector, Steel and Mechanical Detailer, and Structural and Mechanical Designer working with heavy and light structural framing, chute work, duct work, and material handling systems. He worked first as a sub-contractor, then contractor, and now a full-time employee for Southern Company for over 30 years. He is currently a Senior Design Specialist with Southern Company. Mark was instrumental in, and received Generations Greatness award for, the modular ductwork design that has been used in virtually all of our environmental systems. He has been serving as a Civil Design Lead at several plants for multiple projects for the last several years and is also currently the Ductwork and Structural Inspection Subject Matter Expert.
