Will Newton is a Professional Geologist with Civil Field Services (CFS) Drilling Services and holds a bachelor’s degree in Geology from Auburn University.
Will started his career in 2010 working within CFS as a contract site safety representative on the Plant Bowen Ash Pond compaction grouting project, transitioning to a full-time field geologist during the same year. In 2011, Will was assigned as the Project Geologist for Hydro Construction supporting the Logan Martin Dam deep grouting project where he specialized in grouting karst geology. During this time, Will implemented modern monitoring instrumentation for the grout curtain installation activities. Currently, Will is a senior geologist in the Drilling Services department supporting Environmental Solutions, APC Hydro, GPC Hydro, and T&PS Construction with remote groundwater monitoring, downhole geophysics, ground penetrating radar (GPR) surveys, and field geology. Will has been married to his wife, Hope, for 6 years and has two children, William (4) and Wesley (2).
