Dennis is a Senior Property Loss Control Professional with AEGIS Insurance Services, Inc. He has over 30 years of fire protection loss control experience in the utility industry and 37 years’ experience in the insurance industry. He has been with AEGIS for over 13 years. He has been the AEGIS Account Team Lead for Southern Company since 2017 and provides a majority of the of property loss control services to Southern Company.

Before joining AEGIS, Dennis worked for Marsh Risk Consulting as a Senior Consultant for over 14 years. Dennis also worked for the American Electric Power Service Corporation as a Corporate Fire Protection Engineer for 3 years and as a Loss Prevention Consultant with Factory Mutual Engineering for 6 years.

Dennis has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an M.S in Fire Protection Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is a registered Fire Protection Engineer in the States of Michigan and Ohio, a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and a principal member on the NPFA 85 Correlating Committee and the Fundamentals Committee and an alternate member of the NFPA 850 Committee.
