Steven Jackson is the Inventory Strategist Supervisor for Supply Chain Generation and has been in this position for 16 months. His team is responsible for implementing inventory strategies to achieve optimal stocking parameters by mitigating operational risk and balancing financial goals at each generation site.

Steven began his career with Southern Company in 2014, at Southern Nuclear, as an Expediter and then a Manufacturing Process Specialist. As an Expediter, his job duties included tracking nuclear refueling outage orders to ensure accurate delivery schedules. As a Manufacturing Process Specialist, his job was to execute source surveillance activities during manufacturing and factory testing to ensure the equipment met specified requirements before being shipped to our nuclear sites.

Before coming to Southern Company, Steven worked 16 years at American Cast Iron Pipe Company (ACIPCO) in Birmingham, AL. His job duties at ACIPCO included manufacturing procedure writer, computer programmer, forecast analyst, and fabricated pipe purchase agent.
