Greg has a Bachelors’ Degree in Geoscience from the University of Florida and Master of Science in Geology from Auburn University. At each stop, his research interests were in “deep Earth” geophysics, covering tectonics and seismology in the South Sandwich & Georgia Islands off the coast of Argentina and fault kinematics in central Taiwan. Since coming to Southern Company in 2011, Greg has primarily worked as a project manager for APC CCR sites, as a geophysical consultant on environmental and construction projects system-wide, as a geologic consultant for hydro generating facilities, and as the purveyor of Southern Company’s data management system. His skills and interests continue to center on geophysical applications to unique challenges, geologic mapping, and efficient data management strategies.
