In recognition of Careers in Energy Week (October 18th - 22nd), Atlanta Gas Light is partnering with its construction contractors to host a career fair focused on skilled and technical trade positions in the natural gas industry. Careers in Energy Week is dedicated to celebrating and raising awareness of energy careers and their importance to our communities, state, and nation. Careers in Energy Week provides an opportunity to promote career awareness for jobs that are essential to delivering clean, safe, reliable, and affordable energy for our customers.
Positions being recruited for include: Natural Gas Technicians, Laborers, Operators (Excavator, Backhoe, Horizontal Directional Drills, Hydrovac), Welders (metal) / Fusers (plastics), Concrete / Asphalt Workers, CDL Licensed Construction Truck Drivers, Mechanics, Foremen, Safety Inspectors, Field Administrators, and Shop / Warehouse Staff, just to name a few.
The career fair will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Atlanta Gas Light's Technical Training Center in Riverdale, Georgia, located at 508 Highway 138, Riverdale, Georgia 30294.
