Adam Madinger joined Southern Company Talent Acquisition in 2012 as a Recruiting Consultant in Southern Company Services (SCS), supporting multiple departments within Southern Company, to include: Technical & Project Solutions (T&PS), SCS Supply Chain Management, Commercial Operations, Environmental & System Planning, Engineering Advisory Team, SCS Safety & Health and SCS Compliance. In addition to his Talent Acquisition responsibilities, Adam has served as an HR Consultant supporting the T&PS Projects & Construction group. His primary responsibilities include recruiting, talent management, training, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and project management.
Prior to joining Southern Company, Adam worked for 5 years at Aerotek (recruiting agency) where he held several different roles – Recruiter, Recruiter Lead and Account Manager. During this time, he supported the recruiting and business development efforts within the Aviation, Energy, and Professional Services departments.
Adam graduated from the University of Alabama in 2005, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Communications. He regularly attends the Birmingham Society for Human Resource management and Birmingham Recruiters Network and is seeking his Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
Originally from Hoover, AL, Adam has lived most of his life in the Birmingham area. Adam and his wife Allyson live in Inverness with their 3 girls, Addy Kate (14), Audrey (8) and Millie (7) and 2 dogs, Clark and Monroe.
