Nyaesia Campbell is the founder and CEO of Innov8tive Strategies LLC., a woman-owned boutique consulting firm that provides vulnerable communities, non-profits, and small businesses with innovative, progressive strategies and technical assistance for capacity building.
Before devoting her time to entrepreneurship, her passion for public service was cultivated through her work and contributions to her community. Ms. Campbell has held positions and worked as a congressional staffer for two federal Congressional members. She assisted various agencies and organizations in expanding funding, outreach, and technical assistance through grants and fundraising efforts. During her tenure with her former member, the administration brought in over 600 million dollars annually into the congressional district. To add, her work with former Alabama Supreme Court Justice fueled her passion for criminal justice reform and equity. She has worked in other leadership roles as Deputy Court Administrator for Fulton County Superior Court in Atlanta, Georgia. She led innovation in Case and Court Performance, Planning, and Development Divisions. She also served as an instructor in higher education and was an Administrator for one of the largest Hispanic-Serving institutions in the United States.
While her specialties include work with grants, programs, and organizational development, she has significant experience in community, workforce, and economic development, leveraging partnerships, policy, and initiatives with organizations, corporations, colleges, and municipalities. This work includes financial literacy, workforce training, placement initiatives, and technical assistance to the most underserved and vulnerable populations.
She has worked with a myriad of foundations and philanthropic organizations such as the Black Belt Community Foundation, Appalachia Funder’s Network, National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy, Kresge Foundation, Goodrich Foundation, Grant Makers for Southern Progress, Northeast Funders Network, and Miami Dade College Foundation to name a few.
Her experience working with diverse fields and demographics is a testament to her ability to excel in challenging roles and her passion for working with people. She welcomes opportunities to address unmet needs and service issues within education, community, tech innovation, workforce, and economic development.
Ms. Campbell holds professional membership in several organizations such as Grant Professional Association, Association of Florida Colleges, Alabama Association of Paralegals, Inc. (AAPI), and was appointed by the Governor as a Delta Leadership Institute Executive Leadership Academy fellow under the Delta Regional Authority. Her civic duty also extends into other areas as she also volunteered for organizations such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Girl Scouts Young Professionals. She is also a mentor and active with her church, The Worship Center Christian Church.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alabama, a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the Mississippi University of Women, and a Master of Science in Public Administration from Troy University.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, traveling, and painting.
