Jason Watters is a Lead Recruiter for Alabama Power, a subsidiary of Southern Company. In this role, he is responsible for providing leadership in the day to day operation and execution of recruiting strategies for Alabama Power, while still maintaining individual recruiting tasks via educational and community outreach. With over twelve years of HR experience, Jason has held roles in recruiting, labor relations, talent management, and training in support of various industries.

Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Jason is a graduate of Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. He also earned a Masters of Science degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville).

Jason is active in the community as a member of Birmingham’s UNCF Young Professionals Advisory Council, Kiwanis Club of Vulcan, American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE), APSO Foundation, and Morehouse College Birmingham Alumni Chapter.
