Jeff Morgan is a Georgia Power Utility Arborist. Jeff joined the company in 2015 and works as the Norwest Transmission Utility Arborist implementing the Vegetation Management program across various TMC territories within his footprint.

Earning his Part 107 certification in 2019, Jeff hopes to leverage UAS in support of forestry and Right-of-Way (FROW) Services by using the technology to patrol, inspect, model, map and evaluate plant health, with the potential to use LiDAR in the future.

Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science degree in forestry from the University of Georgia in 2010 and has worked in various arboricultural industries for 10 years. He has various certifications in his field, which include: ISA Certified Arborist Utility Specialist, Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ), and Georgia Pesticide Applicator License.
