Bobby Jones Golf Course
2205 Northside Dr. NW, Atlanta, GA 30305

In 1932, the Bobby Jones Golf Course opened as the first public golf course in Atlanta and a tribute to one of the greatest golfers of all time: Bob Jones. The Bobby Jones Golf Course Foundation transformed the course in 2018 into a facility worthy of his name featuring a revolutionary new reversible golf course design.

A passionate group of citizens who share a passion for Bobby Jones’ legacy and this historic golf course formed The Bobby Jones Golf Course Foundation, Inc. The Foundation aimed to transform the course into a facility worthy of his name, one that includes a revolutionary reversible golf course designed by the late Bob Cupp, state of the art practice facilities, the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame, and programming designed to grow the game of golf with a specific focus on juniors and adaptive golf.

Bobby Jones Golf Course is a revolutionary golf course design featuring multiple tees and large double greens, sometimes even presenting two hole locations. Most days, the Azalea Course or Magnolia Course offers players 9 holes with multiple tee and pin combinations to play a very different loop each time around. Occasionally on select weekends, outings, and special events, the brilliance of the Bobby Jones Golf Course layout showcases both the Azalea and Magnolia nines in a Reversible 18 hole experience. Whether playing 9, 18, or 27 holes, the new Bobby Jones Golf Course can both challenge the avid golfer and deliver enjoyment to the casual player.
