Southern Company is a highly innovative organization that remains on the cutting edge of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) technology and integration within the energy sector.

 

Currently employing more than 100 remote pilots and 122 sUAS across the system, we are leveraging UAS technology in support of power generation, transmission, distribution, security, land management, economic development, and storm response.  Our pilots continue to find new and innovative ways to exploit the technology on behalf of the company.
