- Dress – Summer, Business Attire is appropriate for this event. The welcome affair will be held at the Birmingham Museum of Art which offers both indoor and outdoor spaces.

- Credentials/Security – As with all TWG 2022 venues, security will be a priority. As such, all registered guests for the Welcome Affair must have their personalized TWG 2022 Welcome Affair credential to access the Birmingham Museum perimeter and facility. This is a different document from the TWG 2022 Sport or Ceremony Credential.
- Invitations are not transferrable. Substitutions are not allowed.
- Parking – Valet Parking and Self Parking will be available for the event. Credentials are mandatory for access to 8th Avenue and parking. Detailed instructions on driving access will be forthcoming.
