As part of Alabama Power’s Move to Equity Action Plan, we’re committed to ensuring equal access to the company’s employee development programs.

To accomplish this, Alabama Power will invite self-nominations for the Leadership Development Program (LDP).

This program provides an opportunity for employees who have the potential and interest to grow, develop and advance into positions with greater responsibility and influence to participate in a formal learning and development program. The programs are designed to strengthen employees’ knowledge of our business and hone leaderships skills, while building lasting relationships with other participants.

Leadership Development Program (LDP) The LDP is designed for employees exempt levels 4-6 with an interest in leadership to increase business acumen, professional skill building, networking and relationship building. Through a variety of personality assessments, skill building, business acumen sessions and mentoring relationships, participants will have a better understanding of the company while developing skills and growing their network.

The program is 9 months in length and the commitment is 1-3 days per month.

The deadline to complete your application is Feb. 13, 5:00 p.m. CST.
