At Alabama Power, providing employees programs, tools and resources to support their development remains a priority.
As a key initiative of the Top 10 Priority Inclusion working group, we are excited to pilot a new company-wide mentoring program that will provide you with this valuable resource. This year’s Voice of the Employee Survey made it clear that many of our employees are interested in mentoring as part of their career and personal development, and we hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity.
This program will assist employees in building meaningful relationships, facilitate learning and development, support a more robust culture of knowledge-sharing, and create a sense of belonging. Training will be provided for both mentors and mentees, and feedback from this pilot program will be used to inform future offerings.
The deadline to complete your self-nomination is Apr. 25, 5:00 p.m. CST. Successful applicants will be notified in May, with a target start date in June.
