During our time together, each of you will be required to participate in a Civil Treatment for Leaders session.


This training provides a comprehensive approach to fair employment practices that will help us learn how to deal constructively with employee matters, manage the workplace productively and make appropriate business decisions.


You have the option to join one of two in-person sessions – Monday, July 29, from 8-11 a.m. or Tuesday, July 30, from 1-4 p.m.


An outside organization, ELI, will conduct these sessions, which also have been administered to our Management Council and other leaders within the Southern Company family.


Beginning in August, all managers of people will be required to take Civil Treatment Training via instructor-led classes. And, early in 2020, all individual contributors will be required to take the Civil Treatment Training via a computer-based course through LearningSOurce.
