In June, T&PS held a brief series of Courageous Conversations on issues related to race, justice, and reconciliation for Southern Company employees.  The feedback we have received so far was very positive – many people felt that they were able to be heard and to understand their co-workers better.

We want to build on the success of these Courageous Conversations by holding additional conversations based on the theme “Speaking Up.” 

Courageous Conversations | Speaking Up is an opportunity for you to discuss your suggestions for how we can keep improving our culture and our business. This is a season where we need to have honest, open conversations about how to improve our teams, our processes, and our execution of projects, so we can work together with Total Commitment and continue delivering Superior Performance. Having the courage to speak up will enable us to grow and build Unquestionable Trust to help our teams succeed even more.

Each of these videoconference sessions will be two hours in length and limited to 7 people.  Some of the sessions are open to all levels and some are scheduled by peer groups.  This is to allow you to have a context where you can feel comfortable to share.  You will have the option to add any questions, ideas, or suggestions you would like us to discuss when you sign up.  Participants will receive a calendar invite once they register along with an option to submit anonymous questions prior to the meeting. 

If a session is full, you can join the waitlist and be added if space becomes available.  If you are unable to attend one of the sessions, we will be scheduling additional sessions in the future.
